After breakfast, you’ll descend into the crater for a full day of game drives. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s most densely inhabited African biodiversity, home to an estimated 30,000 species, including some of Tanzania’s few remaining black rhinos.

Because of the year-round water and forage, the crater supports a broad assortment of species, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, elands, warthogs, hippos, and enormous African elephants. Another big attraction is the park’s large predator population, which includes lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the rare leopard. We’ll have a picnic lunch on the crater bottom.

We’ll arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon and drop you off at your hotel or airport for your ongoing vacation schedule.
