Full Itinerary

Day 1/ Airport – Hotel

Our safari guide will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport/Arusha Airport and accompany you to the lodge in Arusha. Next, he’ll go through your safari itinerary with you before allowing you to rest and enjoy the lodge’s amenities. Bed and breakfast are included in the meal plan. The African Tulip hotel is where you’ll spend the night.

Day 2/ Arusha National Park

Your safari begins about 8:30 a.m., when your tour driver will pick you up from your hotel shortly after breakfast and drive you for less than 30 minutes to the main gate. At the gate, there will be a short break for restrooms and registration before continuing with the game drive till lunch at the Lake Momella picnic. After lunch, you will engage in a game drive until early evening, when you will return to the hotel for overnight rest.

Arusha National Park has a rich variety of wildlife, but visitors shouldn’t expect the same game-viewing experience they find in other national parks of Tanzania’s northern circuit. Birdlife in the forest is prolific, with many forest species more easily seen here than elsewhere on the tourist route – Narina trogon and bar-tailed trogon are both possible highlights for visiting birders, whilst the range of starling species provide somewhat less gaudy interest. Dinner and overnight at The African Tulip hotel.

Day 3/ Arusha – Tarangire National Park

You will start the drive to Tarangire National Park shortly after breakfast. After a two-hour drive, you will register and take a brief bathroom break. Then you’ll be ready to spend the entire day enjoying the park’s animals, birds, and plant life. In the afternoon, your guide will find you a pleasant site to eat lunch before continuing your tour till the evening, when you will go to bed for the night.

Tarangire National Park is well-known for its elephants, lions, leopards, wild dogs, hyenas, jackals, giraffes, buffaloes, mongooses, wildebeests, zebras, impalas, Dik-dik, baboons, and monkeys, as well as over 450 different bird species. Overnight Food Plan: Lunch, Dinner, and Breakfast Included at Manyara Secrets Lodge.

Day 4/ Lake Manyara National Park

Our safari begins early in the morning, when our expert driver tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation and provide a briefing on the day’s activities. After breakfast, we will take you to Lake Manyara National Park. This magnificent National Park is one of Tanzania’s most spectacularly placed wildlife sites, consisting of a vast but shallow soda lake at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment (encompassing two-thirds of the park).

The park’s diverse ecology attracts a broad range of species, including one of Africa’s greatest populations of elephants; Manyara is also known for tree-climbing lions and vast flocks of flamingos drawn to the lake by algae. Msasa Picnic is always available for a lunch break. Dinner and an overnight stay at Manyara Secrete Lodge.

Day 5/ Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti Central Park

Our fifth day begins very early in the morning with a picnic lunch and a 2000-foot descent to the Crater bottom by our 4-wheel drive vehicle for game viewing. So let explore this Garden of Eden. Ngorongoro Crater is a massive and deep volcanic crater. The Crater bottom is rich in grazing, wetlands, forest, and permanent water, which reveals why the species is so diverse and abundant. Up to 25.000 bigger creatures can be found here. It would be the finest chance to witness a black rhino and other rare animals such as the black-maned lion. We’ll have a great day and see some amazing wildlife.

In the afternoon, we drive directly to the Serengeti Plains through the Olduvai Gorge (optional). You will drive through one of the world’s most important prehistoric archaeological sites, Olduvai Gorge, before continuing your journey into the scrublands. The woody knolls surrounding Naabi Hill Gate mark the formal entrance to the Serengeti, which subsequently lowers into the Park’s famous wide-open grasslands.

This stretch reflects the essence of the phrase “Serengeti,” which was taken from the Maasai “Siringet” and has been creatively translated as “the land that flows on endlessly” like no other. The Serengeti National Park spans 6,000 square miles of unspoiled countryside and is home to the world’s greatest wildlife migration, which includes 1.5 million wildebeest. Lunch, dinner, and breakfast are all included in the meal plan. Serengeti Baobab Tented Camp is where you’ll spend the night.

Day 6/ Full Day Serengeti National Park

You will have a full day of game viewing in Serengeti National Park after breakfast. Tanzania’s second largest National Park, the Serengeti, has over 6,000 square miles of grassland plains, Savannah, kopjes, hills, woodlands, and river line forests. The Grumeti, Mbalageti, and Mara river systems provide essential water sources while also providing good opportunities for wildlife viewing.  Apart from the famous migration of wildebeest and zebra, the Serengeti is most renowned for its great predators, including as cheetah and leopard, as well as Lion pride and Hyena clans. Other regularly seen creatures include gazelles, buffalo, giraffes, topis, hartebeest, ostriches, and jackals, but it is the whole diversity of wildlife and environments that will truly wow you.

The broader Serengeti ecosystem encompasses the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Kenya’s Masai Mara, and several bordering wildlife-protected regions, totaling about 17,000 square miles, the world’s largest such ecosystem. Dinner and stay at the Serengeti National Park Lodge meals plan: Lunch, Dinner & Breakfast Included at Serengeti Baobab Tented Camp

Day 7/ Full Day Serengeti National Park

Today, at 06:30 a.m., the safari takes you on an early morning wildlife drive, where you may witness a cat family fleeing the morning mist. Other nocturnal predators returning from a long night of hunting, or a troop of lionesses planning a morning ambush, may also be seen. If the Wildebeest Migration is dense in the Serengeti, you will go straight to where they are and spend a significant amount of time with them before beginning your en route game drive towards the Northern Serengeti.

Check out at Klein’s gate and drive to Lake Natron, where you will arrive late afternoon and, if time allows, go for a sunset walk along the lakeshore. You will eat early and sleep briefly before your driver wakes you up for your night summit attempt at Ol-Doinyo Lengai Mountain.

Meals Plan: Lunch, Dinner & Breakfast Included. Overnight at Lake Natron Campsite close to the Lake.

Day 8/ Lake Natron/ Ol-Doinyo Lengai Mountain

Mountain Ol-Doinyo Lengai, night ascent and dawn summit bid (seismic conditions permitting). Optional waterfall walk, swim, and lake tour before traveling to Longido town. Afternoon trip to Longido town in preparation for the Maasai tribe experiences the next day. Bed and breakfast are included in the meal plan. Longido Mountain Lodge is where you’ll spend the night.

Day 9/ Full Day Maasai Cultural Tour in Longido

Longido is located 80 kilometers north of Arusha, Kenya, on the way to Nairobi. Longido is located on the major road, at the foot of Longido Mountain. The mountain rises steeply from the lowlands and serves as a landmark for people in the vast surroundings.

Maasai warriors roam the mountain and adjacent plains with their cattle in search of pasture and water. The cattle are herded to a packed cattle market in Longido town once a week on Wednesday. Maasai families dwell in small traditional bomas that are distributed around the area. Women leave the boma early in the morning to obtain water and firewood. Little children play in the mud houses and begin caring for children and lambs at a young age. Meals Plan: Lunch, Dinner & Breakfast Included.

Overnight at Arusha Planet Lodge.

Day 10/ Arusha City Tour, Maasai Market and Cultural Heritage

After breakfast, you will embark for a half-day Arusha city tour, including a stop at the Maasai market. There are always things on the market manufactured from local raw materials. The bazaar is brimming with African art. Finally, you will visit the largest African Gallery, which is filled with the art you have always wanted to see as well as Tanzanite gemstones that are exclusively mined in Tanzania. Lunch, dinner, and breakfast are all included in the meal plan. Arusha Planet Lodge is where you’ll spend the night.

Day 11/ Lake Duluti, Canoeing and Bird-Watching

At Lake Duluti, there is always a dedicated guide ready and prepared to help you. It is yet another excellent location for adventurous and picturesque relaxation. More than 150 different bird species can be seen while kayaking around the lake. There are also reptiles present.

Lunch, dinner, and breakfast are all included in the meal plan. Spend the night at Kili Golf Safari House.

Day 12/Kikuletwa (Chemka) Hot Springs

Maji moto, also known locally as kikuletwa Hot springs, is a beautiful and peaceful oasis in the Tanzanian savannah, offering fascinating, bounty-styled views, crystal-clean water, and rich foliage. Chemka is a one-of-a-kind occurrence because it is the only spot in Tanzania, if not East Africa, where ground water interacts with a geothermal source, generating a series of little lakes with warm, never stagnant water. Lunch, dinner, and breakfast are all included in the meal plan. Weru Weru River Lodge is where you’ll spend the night.

Day 13/ Materuni Waterfalls, Coffee tour and Chagga Village

A full tour featuring hiking, coffee studies, visits to local breweries, and a refreshing swim in the hot spring. If it is not foggy, there is a good chance of seeing Mt. Kilimanjaro from the road.

Lunch, dinner, and breakfast are all included in the meal plan. Weru Weru River Lodge is where you’ll spend the night.
